Adult Study
Plans are underway to hold another four to six week Adult Study, beginning (perhaps) around the third week in April and going into May. Jim Wallis, who wrote the bestseller “God's Politics: How the Religious Right Got It Wrong and the Left Didn't Get it,” has just released a follow up book titled “The Great Awakening: Reviving Faith and Politics In A Post-Religious Right America.”

It has been quiet this winter in my department. However, spring is just around the corner and things will begin to bustle.
In the meantime, has anyone noticed the strange looking device in the gallery? It's a backflow prevention device required by Suffolk County Water Authority. It will prevent us from contaminating Suffolk's water supply if anything happens at our church.
