           A Candle Light Service
           Lighting the Christ Candle
           A Service of Lessons and Carols with several of our members, reading the scripture passages that tell the story of the birth of the  Christ Child,  interspersed with singing carols and special music.
Saturday December 29 10:00 am:  Blessing of the Animals.
         You are encouraged to bring your animals for a service in which we honor all of God creatures, and we make a commitment to those which are under our care.
Advent Quilts by Bobbie Sullivan, quilt artist, for the Regis College Chapel, Weston, MA,  One quilt is put up each week during Advent.  Every quilt is a design within itself, reflecting the bible readings of that week. When all four are seen together they make one large scene. Like lighting a candle each week on the Advent wreath, the placing of another quilt marks time and creates anticipation the quintessential Christmas emotion.
